Carers take many forms. You might be the husband or wife, son or daughter, parent or next door neighbour of a person in need of long-term care. Whatever the circumstances, we want to know.
This is because providing care for a frail, sick or disabled relative or friend can be an exhausting, frustrating and, at times, lonely experience. Support and advice is available, but it can be difficult to locate and access. Our aim to to help you to obtain the support you need to enable you to provide this essential role.
By letting us know that you are a Carer for one of our patients, not only can we take greater care of you, but we can ensure that the care of your loved one is as trouble free as possible. The information you provide will be added to the notes of the person for whom you provide care, enabling us to contact the right person at the right time. With the patient’s permission, we will be able to share pertinent information with you and address any concerns that may arise more immediately.
To notify us that you are the main Carer for one of our patients, please speak to our Receptionist at the main reception.
